Care Portal is an online platform that brings the real-time needs of hurting children and families in the Indianapolis area to our attention.
Department of Child Services caseworkers uncover critical material needs of the families with whom they work. Then, Care Portal makes local churches who have signed up, including Rise Church, aware of these needs and provides the opportunity to respond.
Sign up to be a responder for the Rise Church Response Team
You will receive an e-mail notification from a Rise Church Care Portal Team Leader who will activate your request to join the team.
Once activated, you will receive information about ways to assist local families in need. As a member of the Response Team, you may respond to as many or as few requests as you’d like.
Anyone can contribute to the Rise Church Care Portal ministry. All donated funds are considered tax-deductible. The funds will be used to meet the needs of vulnerable children in our community. There are two ways to give:
Visit the Rise Church Care Portal page and click on the green “Give To Our Care Portal Fund” button
Contribute to the Rise Church Care Portal fund through Fellowship One Giving by clicking “Give Through Fellowship One” below to reach the “Care Portal Ministry” in the drop-down “Fund” menu.
The most helpful items to donate are: $25 grocery gift cards (Kroger, Walmart, etc.), twin sheet sets, full sheet sets, twin and full comforter sets, toddler beds, toddler mattresses, twin and full size mattress protectors, dressers, and new unexpired clean car seats (infant, booster, convertible).
If you have items to donate, give them to a Care Portal Team member or contact the Team Leaders listed below.
Click on the “VIEW OPEN REQUESTS” button. You will be directed to the Rise Church Care Portal landing page where you may review all open requests for assistance.
