Kyle and Maya Perkins lead the Downtown Campus Ministry for Rise Church. Kyle is from Oswego, IL, and Maya is from Milwaukee, WI. They were both baptized into Christ and became disciples at their local churches as teens.
Kyle and Maya met in campus ministry at the Milwaukee Church of Christ. After a few years, their relationship evolved from a friendship to romance. They got married in March of 2022.
Kyle received his Bachelor’s in Nursing from Cardinal Stritch University. Maya received her Bachelor’s in Education and History at Marquette University. After graduation, they both decided to work full-time in church ministry.
They have previous experience working in campus ministry for both the Milwaukee Church of Christ and the Lansing Area Church of Christ in Lansing, MI.
The Perkins spend their free time trying new restaurants, watching cheesy movies, exploring the outdoors, and having fun with their handsome son, Ezra!
