Lee and Kathy Boger


Lee was converted in Indianapolis as a single professional in 1982. Kathy was baptized into Christ in the campus ministry in Terre Haute, IN in 1984.

Lee and Kathy were married in 1989 and have two biological daughters, Natalie and Mariah, and an adopted son, David (whom they adopted from Romania when he was 4 years old). 

They have faithfully served as teen leaders and small group leaders for both singles and marrieds. They led the Children's Ministry from 1995-1999. Lee was appointed as an elder in December 2014 and they currently shepherd in the West region of the Rise Church. Lee has also published two books, one on parenting called But What About the Children? (2002) and the other on anger called But What About Your Anger? (2012).

Lee has been in the engineering field for over 40 years working in aerospace, automotive and heavy industrial industries. Since 2009, Lee also has a consulting business called Boger & Associates, LLC, where he works with defense lawyers as an expert witness in the area of crash safety litigation.

Kathy worked as a lyricist, writing lyrics for radio jingles. She also produced multi-media presentations for national sales meetings before she began her favorite job, being a stay-at-home mother! She now teaches private music lessons and water aerobics. In 2016 she began Embracing Adoption, where she is an adoption coach.

Lee received a BSME from General Motors Institute in 1980 and a MSEE from Stanford University in 1981. Kathy received her bachelors degree in Music Business from DePauw University in 1985.
