Joseph Johnson is a campus ministry intern working with students from Indiana University and Ivy Tech in Bloomington. He grew up on the north side of Indianapolis Indiana with his parents Eddie and Margaret who have been members of Rise church since the late 90s. He decided to become a disciple in April of 2014 being baptized at Rise church.

Since then, he graduated from North Central high school and moved to Bloomington Indiana where he could be part of the Alpha Omega Campus ministry, a satellite ministry of Rise. In 2020 Joseph completed a practical nursing program through Ivy Tech in Bloomington and decided to stay in Bloomington to support the ministry while working as a nurse. Joseph pursued an internship with Rise and has been able to serve as the campus minister in Bloomington with Perri Smith since July of 2021. currently he is back in school getting a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry through Harding University.
